Private lessons

I have been teaching students aged 8 - 60 for about 25 years. You can start with me or have a refresher course if it's been a while since your last lessons.
There are regular audition opportunities for students. After some time, I attach great importance to students playing in an ensemble or orchestra. This is because the oboe is primarily an ensemble instrument. The basic concepts of ensemble playing (rhythm, intonation, counting and playing parts) are taught beforehand.

The starting age is around 9 years. The decisive factor is physical development, especially the size of the hands. It is also important to know that you will need to practise for about half an hour at the beginning. Continuous practice is always better than infrequent and occasional practice.

Instruments can be borrowed from the music schools. I can also help with the subsequent purchase of an instrument. A few years ago, I put together exercises for my more advanced student.
